Technical conditions regarding Grzegorz Majzel Trio's performance in the territory of Poland

 

General conditions

The following conditions should be observed as closely as possible: 

The band should be allowed at least a 30-minute rehearsal an hour and a half before the actual performance

 

  • Mass media may be present during a performance (exclusively for the purpose of non-commercial event reporting), but their participation must always be arranged with the band prior to each performance
  • Picture taking (no flash) will be allowed upon receiving consent from Grzegorz Majzel Trio prior to each performance
  • Podium min. 4x6 m (4-meter deep, 6-meter wide), not required if the stage is raised (min. 40 cm) 1.5-m x 2-m wings, not required if there is a separate room with direct access to the stage

 

 

Sound

Note! Only an experienced acoustician working on good-class equipment can voice the performance

The acoustician should be able to control the lights during the performance from his or her station. 

 

  • Please make sure the sound equipment is appropriate for a given concert hall 
  • Mixer with eight MIC inputs and two stereophonic inputs
  • Reverberator - 3 vocal microphones, e.g.: sennheiser e865 or shure beta 58a or of a similar class from other manufacturers, "L" and "R" channel cords for musical instruments, 2 instrumental microphones for congs, 1 microphone for the saxophone, 3 microphone stands 
  • Three onstage sound monitors - two monitors behind the band and one in front of the band at right, looking from the stage

 

 

Light

  • Stage: front - 4 white lamps to illuminate the stage (2xmin 1000 Watts a side), the back - two white contra lamps, if necessary
  • Additionally: it should be possible to change the color of illumination for each musician's station
  • It should be possible to completely black-out the stage during the performance; the operator must be able to switch off all the stage the lights from his or her station

 

Dressing room and catering

  • The band arrives ca. 2 hours before the performance
  • Sound rehearsal should take place ca. half an hour before the performance
  • One dressing room
  • Coffee, tea, cold beverages during the rehearsal and the performance

 

Hotel

(for venues located beyond the 3-hour driving distance)

  • One double room and one single room or three single rooms
